I spent a summer weekend in southern Texas at Sam Rayburn Reservoir, where my grandparents own a lake house. I’ve been coming to this place since I was very young, and I decided to document what could be one of my final weekends here with my family.

After four months of sailing around the world, my Semester at Sea voyage came to an end on April 20. In this post, I document my final days at sea, reflect on the voyage, and officially end the Sam at Sea series.
