The Patchwork Project
Supported by the Sustainability Center, the Patchwork Project is a student-led, cross-collaborative project at Colorado State University that aims to reduce clothing consumption and grow a culture of clothing restoration on campus and within the community.
Clothing Swap & Mending Workshops
Students are invited to swap clothes and learn how to mend clothing through a purpose called darning from Project Coordinators and sometimes, a guest speaker. At one such workshop, Circular Thrift LLC founder Lisa Goldsand came and spoke about her mission to increase the re-use of clothing by providing her community with publicly accessible clothing drop bins, community clothing swaps, pop-up thrift shops, and remanufacturing projects.
